Although Gavin’s photography has been published in numerous books and periodicals in the past, NOTES FROM A MARRIAGE (poetry and photography) is the first true collection of his images. Utilizing the classic (and sold-out) poems from his original NOTES as text for these 44 disparate images, and a Foreword from author Felice Picano (who originally published the text, the Gavin Dillard Poetry Library & Archive has created a lovely, case-bound, 8.5” x 8.5” coffee table edition. Images include a number of luminaries, such as Christopher Isherwood, Don Bachardy, and Tom of Finland. CAVEAT: there is nudity.
